Kashmir Needs Resolution Not Any Solution

Prevailing unrest and cycle of death and destruction is not an ugly outcome of any sudden outburst. No doubt that Indian paramilitary troopers deployed in Kashmir have lost their command and control and use to kill civilian’s particularly teenage youth on roads and streets of Kashmir valley or damaging the valuables of people since 6th day of June this year but it doesn’t mean that there was an atmosphere of peace and certainty before June 2010. Today we talk about anger and sentiment of Kashmir youth as if everything was alright before the killing of Tufail Matto. Like numerous other Kashmir watchers I too used to monitor the socio political movements of Kashmir since a long and I am of the opinion that current unrest is deeply rooted in miscalculations and biased recommendations of Kashmir Planers working for New Delhi. They thought that with the passage of time elections (selections) and economic packages will heal the wounds of common Kashmiri’s but they proved wrong and now they are spreading the feelers that the autonomy will be sanctioned for J&K. Ironically in this offer too If’s and butt’s are very much visible. Divided parts of Jammu and Kashmir don’t need any solution but a permanent resolution for long lasting peace according to the aspirations of residents of Jammu and Kashmir and this can happen only when UN resolutions are implemented honestly and sincerely .Till then any kind of patch work on this 64 years troubled road will never clear the ultimate path leading to peaceful and prosperous future of south east Asia. At the moment success of “Quit Kashmir” movement headed by Syed Ali Geelani and supported by all the resistance forces is an eye opener for one and all so all the concerned must reach to him and share all the concerns with him. Here, intelligentsia of troubled land must come out of their suffocating shells and break their silence so that people at the helm in Delhi, Islamabad and Srinagar can chalk out a pro people strategy for the betterment of one and all. I think this is the only way to stop cycle of death and destruction in Kashmir and if attention is not paid by all the stake holders and this horrifying cycle remains revolving then obviously things can take a very ugly shape for billions of people living in South East Asia.

For the last eight decades a peaceful and fearless life remained a distant dream for people of Kashmir. No doubt, emotions to get freedom from Indian rule in civil society of Kashmir is very high, particularly anger against the brutal use of armed forces in youth is extremely strong these days so a long lasting solution of this problem seems very difficult but it is not impossible. Let govt. of India declare Kashmir a dispute, things will automatically lead towards a proper direction. Negotiated settlement is the only solution not any warfare, so sane people from all quarters must come forward for the cause of peace so that paradise on earth becomes a real heaven for one and all, particularly for suffering people of Kashmir. Is anybody listening?

Due to the unabated reign of State terror whole valley of Kashmir is burning and Muslim belt of Jammu and Ladakh provinces are also anguished. In fact it’s war of State/People now. Millions of people are indoors due to imposition of strict curfew all over the valley. Army is busy in flag march on the roads of Srinagar and other major towns of the valley. Paramilitary troopers of CRPF and JK Police are not allowing any one to step out his house. It is “Silence of Graveyard on Cannon point”. Local media has been gagged; no news paper got published for the past two days. On the other hand different news Channels particularly “Times Now” is brutally manipulating the situation. Media stands witness that during the past couple of week’s armed forces showered bullets on street crowds and 16 innocent boys got killed. They blame it on “stone pelting”, but those who got killed never took any stone to pelt. Stone pelting was always a mode of protest against the state suppression in Kashmir. Today we are witnessing stone pelting in every part of valley as a reactionary protest against the Indian State and obviously they target troopers. There is nothing new and if somebody links this common outburst of Kashmir youth to terrorism or political business of some party lives in a fool’s shell. One can look into the history of 31st of July 1931 (Martyrs Day) where in the same mode of protest was practiced. Kashmir is a political problem and it must be resolved according to the wishes of people of Kashmir as early as possible.

Who Killed Khan of Sopore ?

President, Traders Federation Sopore Kashmir Mr.Ghulam Nabi Khan, who was shot at by an unknown man on Sunday near CRFF post in Sopore,was a very popular public figure of the town and a renowned social activist. Loudly condemning the attck, Sopore people are still in a state of shock on this cold blooded murder. Ghulam Mohi ud din gazi a well known fruit merchant of Sopore said in a public gathering that the killing is no way related to “Mujahideen” but a conspiracy to eliminate a social figure of the town to create confusion among the masses. Eye witness of the attack are raising questions by saying that the spot is hardly 20 meters far from the SBI building where CRPF post is located so it is not possible that attacker can flee away from the high security zone.

Just a Wish

I wish a human being must remember that one day his soul will be separated from the body and at that moment something strange (good/bad) will happen to him/her and at that point of time no one will be at his/her rescue. And If we remember our fate I think solution of all the problems we use to face will emerge automatically and this planet will become planet of peace for one and all.

Combination and Separation of Body & Soul !!!

Human souls are immortal,not a bit of doubt about it,but matter of the fact is that bodies they use to live in for some time ultimately perish and vanish.When we say the combination of body and soul do always give life to a human being and ultimately their separation do make them a "deleted folder", of course for an invisible "recycle bin". Now the question is that do we really believe in all this,if yes,then why don't we make adequate preparations for the day,the day of separation for our body and soul ?

Nationality of Kashmiries

A Kasmiri can be defined in multiple terms but you can never define a Kashmiri in a specific term.Being a Kashmiri I often ask myself that who am I and what is my nationality.Living in Indian administered J&K a Kashmiri is known as Indian national and brother of the same person living across line of control LoC is called Pakistani.Isn't this a strange thing for a Kashmiri who is Kashmiri but isforced to hide his nationality????????????
